Why choose SLO24CRXSN

Built for a defined industrial duty

Use SLO24CRXSN when a nominal 24 VDC controller output must switch a 24 VDC load up to the published 10 A limit. The integrated screw-terminal socket simplifies installation while the solid-state output avoids mechanical contact wear.

10 A load-current limit

Published at 25 °C and subject to the datasheet derating curve.

Resistive and slightly inductive loads

Inductive use is allowed within the L/R limits and requires a clamp diode.

Integrated DIN-rail socket

A complete screw-terminal relay assembly for a standard 35 mm rail.

Status LED

Local indication is integrated into the relay assembly.

Application guidance

Use it where its strengths matter

Suitable applications

  • High-current 24 VDC resistive loads
  • Slightly inductive loads within the published L/R limits
  • Control cabinets needing an integrated DIN-rail relay assembly
  • Applications requiring frequent, contactless DC switching

Check before selection

  • The 10 A maximum is specified at 25 °C; apply the published temperature and bank-mounting derating.
  • For inductive loads, use a clamp diode and stay within L/R 0.5 ms at 32 V / 10 A or L/R 2 ms at 24 V / 5 A.
  • Maximum load voltage is 80 VDC; nominal load voltage is 24 VDC.
  • Use a correctly rated fast fuse, copper conductors rated for 60/75 °C and 0.5–0.6 Nm terminal torque.
Delcon design advantage: the control command crosses a pulse-transformer isolation barrier instead of an optocoupler. See how Delcon technology works →

SLO24CRXSN already includes its DIN-rail socket. The related plug-in products are alternatives for applications where a separate replaceable relay and socket arrangement is preferred.

Frequently asked questions

SLO24CRXSN selection basics

Is SLO24CRXSN only for resistive loads?

No. The current datasheet specifies resistive and slightly inductive loads. Inductive loads must remain within the published L/R limits and use a clamp diode.

Can it carry 10 A continuously?

The datasheet gives 10 A as the maximum at 25 °C. The permitted current must be reduced according to ambient temperature, mounting density and duty cycle.

Does it need a separate socket?

No. SLO24CRXSN is a DIN-rail relay assembly with an integrated screw-terminal socket.

How should it be protected?

Use a fast fuse correctly rated for the load and relay capacity, and follow the datasheet requirements for wiring, cooling, derating and terminal torque.
