Why choose MOS1GN

Serviceable single-relay mounting

Use MOS1GN when an SLO- or other compatible SL-series output relay needs a serviceable single-relay DIN-rail mounting point. The socket separates the logic and field sides clearly while keeping wiring fixed when the plug-in relay is replaced.

For output relays

MOS1GN is wired for compatible Delcon SL-series output relays.

Reinforced connections

Each screw-terminal connection uses two pins for a robust relay interface.

8 A RMS socket rating

A published continuous-current ceiling for the socket itself.

4,600 VAC RMS isolation

Minimum I/O breakdown voltage with 8 mm air and creepage distance.

Application guidance

Select the socket as part of the complete assembly

Suitable applications

  • Single Delcon output relays on a 35 mm DIN rail
  • Industrial control cabinets using screw-terminal field wiring
  • Applications requiring a replaceable plug-in solid-state relay
  • Panels where logic-side and field-side wiring must remain clearly separated

Check before selection

  • Use MOS1GN for output relays. For Delcon input relays, select MIS1GN instead.
  • The complete assembly is limited by the relay, socket, conductor, ambient temperature and installation conditions; the 8 A value is the socket maximum.
  • Tighten terminals to 0.5–0.6 Nm using the correct tool. Over-torqueing can damage the screw terminal.
  • Use copper conductors rated for at least 60/75 °C. Follow the selected relay’s datasheet for side-by-side mounting, thermal derating, fuse selection and maximum load.
Delcon system advantage: keep the fixed panel wiring in place while the plug-in relay remains easy to inspect or replace. See how Delcon technology works →

Input or output relay?

MOS1GN or MIS1GN?

The two sockets share the same mechanical format and headline ratings, but their electrical connections are assigned for different relay functions.

Choose MOS1GN

For compatible Delcon SL-series output relays that switch a field load.

Choose MIS1GN

For compatible Delcon SL-series input relays that transfer a field signal to a PLC or control input.

Frequently asked questions

MOS1GN selection basics

Which relays fit MOS1GN?

MOS1GN is intended for compatible Delcon SL-series plug-in output relays. Confirm the exact relay and socket combination from the relay datasheet or with Delcon before ordering.

What is the difference between MOS1GN and MIS1GN?

MOS1GN is wired for output relays, while MIS1GN is wired for input relays. They use different terminal assignments and must be selected according to the relay function.

Can the socket carry 8 A with every relay?

No. 8 A RMS is the socket maximum. The permissible assembly current is always limited by the selected relay, load, wiring, ambient temperature and installation conditions.

Is there a spring-terminal alternative?

Yes. MOS1CCN is the corresponding output-relay socket with spring terminals.
